NAWLEE is excited to announce the launch of Elevate Blue, a virtual no-cost training suite for law enforcement on contemporary training topics. 
 
 
Elevate Blue will broaden and support important training opportunities for law enforcement, champion promising practices, incorporate research and evidence-based approaches, provide perspectives and illustrations from diverse practitioners across the nation, and enhance public safety for agencies and the communities they serve.
 
 
Elevate Blue was developed in partnership with the U.S. Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), and led by the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) through a coalition of key criminal justice stakeholders including (the Fraternal Order of Police, the International Association of College Law Enforcement Administrators, the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST), the National Association of Women Law Enforcement Executives, the National District Attorneys Association, and the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives.
 
Initial courses available upon launch include Managing Mass Demonstrations and Protecting Civil Liberties; Resilience Across Dimensions: Officer Health and Prosperity; and Leadership, Management, and Supervision.
 
 
Elevate Blue offers law enforcement the flexibility to participate in training on demand and within the limits of their schedule at no cost on any device, any time, and in any location. Elevate Blue courses are certified through the IADLEST National Certification Program and will fulfill most state POST requirements.
 
Throughout 2024 and beyond, Elevate Blue will launch additional criminal justice topics such as Community Engagement and Trust; Effective Violent Crime Reduction Strategies and Recruitment, Hiring, Training, and Retention.
