Salary:

Salary: $91,896-$111,701 annually DOQ + 5% for MA degree. The City offers an excellent

fringe benefit package.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualifications: Education- BA from an accredited college or university with an emphasis

in a related field. Experience – Minimum 8 years’ experience as a sworn police officer in

a university, city, county, or state police agency, including at least 3 years in a

supervisory capacity in a law enforcement field. Consideration will be given to

candidates with a satisfactory combination of education, training and experience that

demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the job

proficiently. Desirable: MA degree in a related field; possession of an Executive

certificate issued by the Oregon DPSST, or equivalent; previous experience as a

detective/investigator.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Possession of, or the ability to obtain and retain, an Oregon

driver’s license by the time of appointment. Possession of, or the ability to obtain, a

Supervisory certificate issued by DPSST.
